What can I do about High Hedges?
There has been a great deal of debate about the nuisance caused by the use of 'High Hedges' or leylandi trees. Nationally there have been a number of high profile neighbourhood disputes. Even locally I have a file of cases where this type of nuisance is causing distress.
The government tried to intervene with guidance to local authorities, but this does not seem to have settled all disputes.
A Private Member's Bill is in the House of Commons during the 2002-03 Parliament, which I am giving my broad to support to.
