Hastings

Andy Reed MP on a walkabout in Hastings with local Councillors and Bob Bailey of Hastings Community Association talking to a local resident.
Hastings has a vibrant community and a rich heritage. It is home to the Great Central Railway GCR and the Taylor Bell Foundry Taylor's
It is measured as one of the most deprived wards in the Borough of Charnwood but the Community Association are working hard to retain its rich industrial heritage and use the social capital of local People to revitalise the area once again.
I have been working with local residents to maximise the potential of the GCR. The inner relief Road also causes concern locally and I have campaigned for its route to minimise disruption through the centre of the ward.
