The Lemyngton ward could be transformed by the successful completion of the Eastern Gateway project and the refurbishment of the Railway Station.

I have been working to see this project to a conclusion since I completed phase 1 of the project when I was Chair of Economic Development in 1995-96.

I am determined to see this project complete. It will include a new road, housing, car parking, business and hotels. This will allow for the closing of Ratcliffe Road and Burder Street to through traffic creating a massive improvement in the quality of life for local residents. They have been waiting long enough.
